Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I thought the cover of ‘SandPeople’ intriguing with a wispy dreamlike quality which piqued my interest sufficiently for me to read further. The book didn’t disappoint: which proves that gut feel is often the best indicator.

It is quite intriguing. It reminds me of the 'Famous Five' series.

I usually don't like covers with real people on them, but this one caught my attention right away. It is definitely something I would pick up right away in a bookstore if I saw it. Maybe it's the pastel colors in it, or maybe it's how soft it is overall, but I would definitely read the blurb to see what it talks about!

I liked this cover! It very much reminded me of a book that would have caught my eye at the intended age level and successfully represented the feel of the 1990s in which it takes place.

The cover of "SandPeople" captivated me with its dreamy allure, sparking curiosity about the mysteries within. Its warm tones suggest a journey through time and memory, promising a narrative rich in history and introspection.

The cover of the book depicts the 1990s, which is the setting of this story. Also, it conveys the warmth of the Gulf Coast of Texas. The cover accurately represents the theme of the book.

Honestly, if I were to judge a book by its cover, I would not pick up this book based on the cover. I actually don't find anything remotely interesting about it. From the cover, it looks like a very boring read. Its a good job I don't select books by their covers!

When I look at the cover I see a person with a beach in the background. The title of the book is sandpeople so it leads me to believe that the book is going to be about people that live at the beach.

Kids today are bombarded by everything loud, both in sound and in artwork. Book covers are no exception. I see holograms, 3D mazes, and superhero characters in brilliantly colored gear with neon hair hailing kids to read some great stories. But, this quiet little head-turner is different, and it is intriguing.

Here’s a kid, alone on a beach. What did she just see? Check out her eyes, guys! Did something, or someone, move over there? What are sand people?

There is a dreamy, eerie quality to the cover. It reminds me of a foggy morning before the rest of the world arises and storms the beaches, so to speak. I think kids will see this book cover and at least pick it up to see what’s inside.

The color pallette remind me of grains of sands, as in "SandPeople." And there is a sense of mystery to the girl looking to the distance. So, it is a very nice cover.

I enjoyed the cover. A young girl is walking along the beach. It reminds me of myself, always at the beach at Lake Michigan.

The cover isn't eye-catching but it isn't boring either. The soft, washed-out color radiates a sense of nostalgia. Since the title is SandPeople, the beach in the background is appropriate. The girl seems to be the focus point and that piques interest. So overall, I quite liked the cover.

I really like the cover of this book. The colors and the style look kind of dreamy, which I find intriguing, and would definitely have made me investigate the book further when I was a kid. It shows about how old the main character is, and even though you can’t tell much about the story other than a general setting, I think it really captures the mood and feel of the book.
