Benjamin and Chase, Templar Knights, battle against the Illuminati and monsters. Their guardian angel, Ashriel, helps them heal and fight against the vampires. One evening, Benjamin and Chase discover a vampire den with more vampires than they could handle. Emma, who had caught sight of the men, joins the fight and is shot in the back three times. At the hospital, Chase prays for Ashriel to save Emma, and Ashriel pronounces, "This woman must die!"
The story is filled with fights against supernatural monsters, vengeance for fallen family members, and tension derived from romantic feelings. The plot is unpredictable with multiple twists, but the storyline is easy to follow. The ending leaves an opening for a sequel that I am eager to read.
The book is professionally edited, and the story keeps me fully engaged. I have shed tears in several parts because O'Clair's exceptional focus on the feelings of each person felt real. The transitions between character views were clear.
I recommend the book for adult readers who enjoy slow-burn fantasy romance novels. However, there is a lot of graphic violence, an explicit scene, and profanity that may offend some readers. While the story includes angels and demons, a specific religion is not defined.
In conclusion, Knights of Orion Citadel: Illusion of Safety is a suspenseful fantasy novel that explores the concept of a curse that can be a blessing in disguise. The story is filled with fights against supernatural monsters, vengeance for fallen family members, and tension derived from romantic feelings.

I felt confident in the book's narrative and characters based on your description. This suspenseful tale blends stress from feelings with combat against otherworldly monsters and retribution for departed family members. Although there are many twists and turns in the plot, it is still simple to follow.
