Your comments about the emotional depth of Emma's struggles and the contrasting personalities of Benjamin and Chase made me want to experience those characters for myself.

A great and suspenseful supernatural novel that has an unpredictable plot? The review caught my curiosity, so I'm going to add it to my reading list.

The book seems to be really captivating with lots of twists and turns with a love line and paranormal elements describing angels, demons, vampires, curses and templars. But the book ends in a cliffhanger so I need to have the two of them to start reading as I want to get the complete story "immediately". Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

A slow burning fantasy romance novel "Knights of Orion Citadel" by Avalon O'Clair, which follows Emma Borello, who returns home and witnesses her father’s murder.

Chase seems like an interesting character. Having read many books and seen many movies - most of the plots in the books we read are almost predictable. It's rare to find a book with unpredictable plots and multiple twists. Will probably be a good read.

Nice review! I see we have the “dynamic duo” trope is in full swing with the two male leads in this book, which can be a lot of fun. However, I would hesitate at any romance in this (and I say this as a fully-fledged romance fan!). Based on the plot description, I’m assuming the “love triangle” trope is at play here. Love triangles are a VERY tough trope to write, not only well, but also in a manner that is genuinely satisfying. So, I’d be curious to know how exactly it was approached in this book and if it works.
He gave her a pair of designer running shoes.
What were they for, exactly? Running from the monsters? A consolation prize after being assigned such a horrible fate? There’s no reason given, but I’m assuming it’s relevant if was mentioned.

Avalon O'Clair's "Knights of Orion Citadel" is a thrilling fantasy story that grabs readers from the opening page. The narrative, which takes place in the magical realm of Orion Citadel, follows a group of gallant knights as they battle evil forces who pose a danger to their territory. Rich descriptions and fully realised people bring the world to life, thanks to O'Clair's brilliant imagination. Readers will remain on the edge of their seats until the very end, thanks to the plot's many twists and turns. For fans of fantasy literature, "Knights of Orion Citadel" is a must-read because of its deft blending of magic, action, and intrigue.

This book describes the intertwined fates of Emma Borello, Benjamin, Chase, and Ashriel in a world filled with martial arts championships, witness protection programs, Templar Knights, vampires, and supernatural elements. It leaves readers on a cliffhanger, wondering about Emma's fate and the implications of Ashriel's pronouncement.

I appreciate the comment about the cover having a 'Fast and Furious' feel. Personally, it reminds me more of the Winchester brothers from the 'Supernatural' TV series.

I love creative fantasy, and from the review, I think this is one. I can't wait to dive in and see the action mysteries and if Emma survives in the book. Nice review.
