A cursed girl attracts monsters, but it might save her life. Templar Knights and a guardian angel join forces in a thrilling battle against vampires. With vivid detail and compelling characters, Avalon O'Clair crafts a suspenseful fantasy filled with twists and romance. Five stars for its engaging plot, emotional depth, and seamless transitions. I would highly recommended for adults who enjoy fantasy with a touch of romance and action.

"Knights of Orion Citadel: Illusion of Safety" is a suspenseful fantasy novel written by Avalon O'Clair. The story follows Emma Borello, who witnesses her father's murder and enters a witness protection program. However, on her eighteenth birthday, Octavio, the father of the man she testified against, finds her and reveals that he has attracted paranormal creatures to her as a form of punishment. Emma then crosses paths with Benjamin and Chase, Templar Knights who battle against the Illuminati and supernatural beings. Their guardian angel, Ashriel, becomes involved in their fight, and the story unfolds with intense action, vengeance, and romantic tension.

Reading about Emma's journey from witnessing her father's murder to facing the dangers of a cursed life has left me curious about the significance of the designer running shoes given to her by Octavio. The symbolism behind them intrigues me.
I believe in something greater than myself.

Octavio sells his soul to a demon so that monsters come after Emma. He tells her that she will suffer and not die. Benjamin and Chase are Templar knights fighting against monsters. Emma coincidentally meets with them during one of their fights and gets injured. Chase prays to their guardian angel, Ashriel, who says that the girl must die. This fantasy novel is unpredictable, and the author has done a great job with character development. That was a great review.

I am intrigued by the designer running shoes. That's a weird gift to give your adversary. And was Emma able to use them to triumph against the monsters? I know I'd rather have Mercury's winged footwear.

I sampled a few pages, and although the book seems to be nicely written, this isn't the kind of story that floats my boat. I'm not a big reader of fantasy romances, so I'll skip this one, but not without wishing the author congrats on BOTD.

The cover caught my eye immediately and the plot seems well-woven with seat gripping storyline. I'm curious about Ashriel's reaction to Anna and the reason behind his words.

Thank you for your insightful review on, "Knights of Orion Citadel: Illusion of Safety" by Avalon O’Clair. Your review, the sample in Amazon and your rating of this book has influenced me to read this interesting book. I'm not crazy about fantasy books but this one sounds like something I would like to read because it is also a mystery and I like those. The fact that Emma witness the murder of her father and then had to go into a witness protection program because she testified against his murderer just intrigued me so much that I did put this book on my reading list. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.
