Review about Dune 2?

Post by Srikant Mahanty »

Hello All,
I just wanted to ask whether Dune 2 is a watch? If it is, whether should be watch at home or a must multiplex? I have watched the first part and very interested in watching the second as well.

It's worth going to the theater for Dune 2 if you liked the first or are a big movie fan.

It's an outstanding film. But like the first film, the director could have taken about 30 minutes out of this film and the first. As interesting as it is, spending almost 3 hours at the cinema is tiring.

I haven't seen the movie but I'm also hoping it's worth watching.

As far as sci-fi movies go, this is one of the best so far this year. Not quite as good as the first one but still pretty good. I'd rate it a 4/5

It really was a good one, one of the best of the year. I love the story, characters, plot, themes, suspense, and what a fantastic ending.

Dune is a must watch on multiplex. The cinematography scenes alone would be less powerful without that. I thoroughly enjoyed both versions but would agree latest one was a tad too long. However, still a good watch.

I liked the movie. Going by some of the desert scenes and sound effects used in the movie, I'd suggest it's worth watching in the theater.
