Unicorns Know Magic by Charles Adkins is a cute magical journey for children. I really enjoyed the illustrations by Ros Webb. The pictures feel magical and whimsical while also helping to tell the story. With each rhyming verse, the illustrations bring the story to life.

How exciting it was for these young children when a family of unicorns moved in next door to them! What adventures await as they make friends with their new neighbors? The children set out on an adventure of a lifetime when they hop on the backs of their new friends, the unicorns.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars because I found it to be a cute and exciting read for children. I enjoyed the rhyming and the little adventures they went on, as well as the little bits of humor that were mixed into the story.

I absolutely loved how, when they visit France, on the back of their unicorns, of course, they even learn some French! The children even get to meet the Queen in London. I love that the story takes them on an adventure that will teach young readers about different places. The unicorns even help around the house doing chores, which is always a good example for children.

The cute rhyming is such a great way to tell this story and adds to the magical, fun feel of the book. I liked how some parts were more serious but then had mixes of humor within the verses. Humor is always a great way to grab children's attention while they listen to a story.

I found nothing that I did not like about this sweet story for children. I have no criticism for this book; I enjoyed reading it out loud to my two children. In addition, the book is expertly edited, and I found no errors while reading.

I would recommend Unicorns Know Magic by Charles Adkins to parents and children alike who would enjoy a fantastical adventure with unicorns!
