Gena Showalter/Lords of the Underworld

Hello, I am new to the forums. I am an avid reader. I have been reading for more years than I can count. My first experience with Romance/Erotica was with the author Gena Showalter. Her series Lords of the Underworld were the first I read. I was hooked right from the start. It is a mix of present day and science fiction. Including Greek mythology.

Gena's writing is outstanding. I am one of those readers who catches misspellings and grammar errors. She is little to none in that category. Her stories flow and keep you enthralled. Anyone who is a fan of J.R. Wards The Black Dagger Hood will like this series. It has enough present day events to keep it real.

Not to mention her characters!! I have a habit of making book boyfriends and I have many in this series.

A brief explanation of her characters are they are immortals who had opened Pandora's box and let the worst demons out. As punishment each Lord was "cursed" with one of the demons to live inside themselves. Like wrath, rage, pain, promiscuous, and the list is endless. She also writes other books as well and I have read them and they are just as good!

I have read a lot of books by different authors and can be a good source of any recommendations!

This too I haven't read yet and its in my have to read list. I read Gena Showalter's Heart of the Dragon and Black and Blue and so far I liked these two. I hope the rest of her books are as good as the ones I've read.

AH! I love Gena Showalter! I read most the series but haven't finished Paris's story. I really like the brotherhood of the Lords. How they work together. In my own writing I have problems with bringing out the casual friend relationship of guys. Lucian is by far my favorite and I LOVE how she makes the harpy myth fun and exciting. The uniqueness of demons in Pandora's box and the take of gods and goddesses in this universe is great!
Her new series with the Angels is great in making the traditional view of angels being all good and holy and turning it into a more humanizing characteristics of having problems but still remaining angels.
Defiantly a must read.

Love this series!!!! I have read all of them I will say the first couple of books in this series are the best.
