Your review of "Choose to Soar: Navigating Disruptions in Business and Life" by Annie Meehan effectively highlights the book's focus on navigating life's storms and disruptions. Storms come and go throughout our lives but depending on how we deal with them will rule how we live our life until the next storm. I found this book to be a helpful source because it breaks down a way we should go about solving/living with these storms; openness being one of them. I look forward to reading this resourceful book so I have put it on my shelf to read. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Motivational, self-help books are not my cup of tea but this book sounds pretty informative. It has a good purpose of showing how to deal with the obstacles in your business and private life and come out of it even stronger than before. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Thanks for a free copy! Life isn't fruitful without storms. I guess it is through the storm that we are sharpened to face whatever comes in the future. I am excited to get a book like this, and I look forward to learning more from it.

This book is similar to other self-help books I have found on the internet. However, the way the title is managed to reveal the entire contents, I love that. I loved the play on the words with how the title was selected. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

I agree with the author that we don't have all the answers in life. Seeking help from professionals, family and friends is good advice. Helping others is good and takes the focus off our own hardships. It also increases confidence and makes us feel good about ourselves. Thank you for the insightful review.

Your review is very interesting! I sampled the first chapter, and, like you, I noted and liked the acronym STORM. I also liked the exercises to help us identify the past and present disruptions on all fronts of our lives. I agree with your all-star rating, as it promises to be a very useful practical self-help guide!
