Meehan's writing is scattered with a sense of honesty and laughter. Her ordeal will tickle the nerves of any listener who has ever been through adversity before and leave them with the feeling that the book is not only personal but motivational as well. Congrats on #BOTD

"Choose to Soar: Navigating Disruptions in Business and Life" by Annie Meehan explores navigating life's storms, offering tools like the STORMS method—Stillness, Time, Openness, Relationships, Mindfulness, and Soaring. Divided into three parts, it discusses storm categorization, creating a Storm First Aid Kit, and leveraging storms to thrive. Meehan shares personal experiences and advocates vulnerability and helping others for healing and growth. This is a very informative and honest review. Thank you.

Although I thought I won't be reading this book, I have a different view now. This sounds quite informative and I like how the author uses 'storms' to get her message through. She had a vast amount of 'storms' in her life so I'm sure we all can gain from her experiences. Thanks for an insightful review. Congrats on BOTD.

What stands out to me is the emphasis on openness and vulnerability—traits often overlooked in our quest for strength. This book feels like a gentle yet powerful reminder that healing begins with embracing our humanity.
I believe in something greater than myself.

We all need STORMS to grow as people. But not the typical storms; these are meant to help us manage our time, stillness, relationships, and more. Are you afraid of storms, or are you ready to soar through them?

Storms can make or destroy us but the ultimate decision doesn't only lie in how we maneuver he storms but also how we're able to continue living thereafter.

We should appreciate the storms of life since they're almost inevitable and see them only as stepping stones.
