Annie infuses her positive perspective to assist us in navigating the challenges we face in life. Her book is a delightful blend of touching, humorous, insightful, and relatable moments. As someone who witnessed Hurricane Ian, I particularly value Annie's incorporation of her own experiences into the narrative.

I really like non-fiction self-help type of books that assist us getting through our daily lives in a positive yet simple fashion. *Choose to Soar* by Annie Meehan, according to the wonderful review is one of those types of books. The mnemonic STORMS helps the reader understand that we have to go through trials and tribulations in life with an open mind and heart and we then can soar above the storms to success. It is no guarantee that another trial will not come along but the reader then knows they can handle anything!
If you're going through hell, keep going.

Your review of "Choose to Soar: Navigating Disruptions in Business and Life" paints a compelling picture of the book's insightful approach to navigating life's storms. The STORMS framework, as you described it, seems like a practical tool for anyone facing challenges. I appreciate your detailed summary and personal reflections on how the book resonated with you.

Your favorite chapter on openness and vulnerability particularly stands out to me. It's a powerful reminder that we can find strength in our vulnerability and that seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness.

Based on your review, I'm intrigued by the book's premise and would love to explore its teachings further. It sounds like a valuable resource for anyone looking to overcome obstacles and grow from life's experiences. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this book.

Openness is something many of us may struggle with. I admire the author’s resilience to bounce back after such major events and give us a book with such a useful acronym. I like the eagle analogy as well. Congrats on the BOTD!

Thank you for your sequential and to the point summary review of "Choose to Soar". This book has an advanced model of structure compared to many other self-help books.

"Chapter 2 discusses the different types of storms and how they can be categorized in our lives. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is used to explain the five levels of needs that people need. Chapter 3 helps you in creating a Storm First Aid Kit, which aids in maneuvering through tough times. The succeeding parts will enlighten you on how to wield the STORMS to realize the best version of yourself."
As someone with background in psychology, I appreciate bringing Maslow's hierarchy into the framework of stress.
The STORM First aid kit is a handy guide for classifying problems and tackling them. This book has vision for healing.

The acronym of STORM is one with deep meaning.
"S stands for stillness, silence, and sadness, while T is for time. O stands for Openness, R for Relationships, M for mindfulness, and S for soaring above the storms." Practicing the above would really help me in times of trouble.
