According to your review, I understand that this memoir is about a boy with cerebral palsy growing up in an abusive family, and later in foster and respite care. Cerebral palsy is a huge challenge to live with as the host endures involuntary and unpredictable muscle spasms, difficulty walking, and a speech impediment. These symptoms can range from mild to severe. It is sad that this person had to endure abuse on top of that. I tip my hat to him for having the courage to share his story. My interest is piqued. I am adding this book to my bookshelves. Thank you for this well-written review.
