I am rating the book, "Echoes Down A Dark Well" by Ric Wasley a 3 out of 4. I absolutely loved reading this book and typically didn't want to put the book down; I would read at least 50 pages every time I picked it up! However, I didn't give it a rating of 4 out of 4 because of some spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Fortunately, the errors that were found throughout the book weren't very many making the errors less distracting.

In summary, the book is just brilliant! I enjoyed the flashbacks of the mans previous lives, and his deep, unconditional love for "The Girl" that just so happens to be in all of his lives. The descriptiveness the author uses is beyond compare; I was enticed with the storyline and wanted to keep reading. I was not expecting the twist ending nor was I expecting where the whole plot of the story was leading to. The best part about the ending is the author left it to where, if he wanted, there could be a second book.

I feel that the best part of the book was the way the story played out. In the beginning it could seem confusing, but I was drawn in by the mystery of how his past lives and the present life he was living were connected. The ending was very good as well as the rest of the book; as stated above, the twist ending just made the story even better.

I am not a huge history fanatic, but the way the author used the past to portray his past lives was a very good way to get some history into the book and not bore the reader. I feel that there was some religion based information in here, but it wasn't too much that someone would be offended by it I wouldn't think; plus the way the religion portion was intertwined with the story line was interesting. In addition, the way the history is used with the characters past lives are memorable and keep the reader interested and curious as to why his past lives always ended the way they did.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I would also encourage the author to read through it himself to correct any punctuation and spelling errors that exist. Luckily, the punctuation and spelling errors weren't enough to keep me from reading this book and I am very thankful for that.
