The story of king Elias sounds like the story of many kings, reigning and seeking a wife. The story captivates more and more as it progresses. The only thing that perhaps could be improved is the sharp changes from story to story.

Murray's poetic prowess shines through in this installment of the Camelot Chronicles. His skillful use of literary devices like allegory, alliteration, and rhyming patterns elevates the narrative and immerses the reader in the world of Camelot.

I've always loved Camelot and all the tales that entail it! This book is about Elias and his quest for a wife after earning the trust of his people. Sounds like a page-turner! I love that there are allegories and alterations, makes it sounds that more compelling! Thanks for pointing that out, I really enjoyed your review!

Murray's deft hand with literary devices truly brought the narrative to life, though I admit, the swift transitions did occasionally leave me grasping for continuity. Still, it's a journey worth taking, filled with the essence of Arthurian legend and the complexities of rulership.

It’s evident that the book has captivated readers with its engaging narrative set in Camelot and its exploration of themes like loyalty, love, and destiny. The dilemmas faced by King Elias Pendragon and the impending threats to Camelot from the Vikings of Scandia create an intriguing backdrop for the story. Overall, it appears that the book has successfully woven together elements of romance, adventure, and political intrigue to create a rich tapestry of storytelling.

Ok, I might be biased, but I am a huge fan and believe that there couldn't be a bad book among "Camelot Chronicles" series. Read it once the book was released and totally agree with everything good reviewer wrote about it. Excellently crafted story, interesting characters, beautiful setting and great writing. Certainly recommend to all and congratulate on BOTD!

I do love fantasies but I'm not sure how I feel about one that's written in poetry form/as a ballad and has a rhyming pattern. I may not be the best person to appreciate such a creative style about how Elias finds a wife. I'll pass on this book.

"Battle Ballad of the Royal Knight" is the thrilling third installment of the Camelot Chronicles series, penned in melodic verse that infuses every page with joyful gravity. King Elias Pendragon, wielding Excalibur and ruling Camelot, faces challenges that even the legendary sword cannot overcome. With Shanista, entangled in a trial for the attempted murder of former Queen Guinevere, Camelot's court is in turmoil. Will justice prevail, or will Shanista become the next divisive figure in the kingdom? Meanwhile, Elias must navigate his own romantic entanglements, torn between duty and desire as he considers a marital union with Belinda or follows his heart toward forbidden love. As domestic controversies brew, the threat of Viking invaders looms large on the horizon, poised to engulf Europe in chaos. Can King Elias rally his forces in time to confront this northern pagan menace? "Battle Ballad of the Royal Knight" is a captivating journey into an English Renaissance world, where valor, intrigue, and romance intertwine amidst the backdrop of epic battles and looming threats.

"Battle Ballad of the Royal Knight" by Robert Murray. An interesting book, the book starts by talking about King Elias, who has been devoted to his people. King Elias is in search of a wife, not knowing who truly it would be. Would it be Belinda, or would it be Rosamond? Congrats on your #BOTD.

I don't think non-stop narrative poetry for 190 pages is my cup of tea. Thank you for this informative review. :techie-studyinggray:
