A wonderful set of poems about love and hope. A mother's unwavering love for her child and how cherished memories from the past help face the present are endearing to read. That was a great review.

Poetry isn't a genre I particularly enjoy, but reading books about love, especially forbidden love, is a favorite pastime of mine. Thanks for the great review!

From the sample, I gleaned that the author is a winner of a poetry competition and she writes about many aspects of life. From your review, I discovered that the poems in this collection are about various aspects of love. I am intrigued to discover what presentation style put you off in the Stiletto Shoes ! :)

Mond's ability to encapsulate the complexities of love and human connection in such succinct verses left me feeling both vulnerable and empowered. This collection is not just a book of poems; it's a mirror reflecting the depths of our own souls.

While I am not a fan of poetry, generally, the ability to write about relatable human emotions is appealing. Every day experiences we all exhibit some form of emotion with the people we encounter and this book captures some of these moments.
