COVID caused a lot of destruction, it all happened unexpectedly. Seeing a novel based of COVID is truly captivating and I would like to read.

Thank you for a well-written review.
This book is captivating as it points to how critical any Healthcare system/ organization is.
Jason's belief and choice in terms of the investigation and who to turn to sounds like a pivotal moment.
Irv's efforts to enhance the quality of care are admirable.

Congratulations to the author for bringing to the fore a thought-provoking subject.

Covid-19 certainly brought the world to its knees however the value of the lessons that came out of it can be used to work proactively towards a future of better healthcare systems and also develop general organizational strategies that curb such impacts on the economy overall.

Wonderful review! This absolutely sounds like a compelling and much-needed story for the times. This may seem very random, but as someone who’s recently gotten back into the amazing series that is Avatar: The Last Airbender, these details about the Irv Tinsley character kind of give me Uncle Iroh vibes. Also, the fact that he mentors a young man in a high position of authority whom has been placed in a very unfortunate and challenging situation strikes as reminiscent of the Uncle Iroh/Prince Zuko relationship. This all may very well be a stretch since I haven’t read the book. However, if there’s anyway to form interest in reading it, I guess that would be one. LOL
Irv's role extended beyond that of a mere health administrator; he emerged as an indefatigable healthcare activist who instigated significant transformations within the American healthcare sector.
I’ll be honest…I’d never heard/seen the word “indefatigable” before and had to look up its meaning lol! In case anyone else is in the same boat, it means “incapable of being fatigued” (Source: Merriam-Webster Dictionary).

I love those characters that no matter what value above most the well-being of the general population. Viewing and understanding how a healthcare system can impact society is something that I had never thought about before so carefully. So that's why I feel so attracted to this book. A medical detective story filled with thriller, mystery, and crime.

"The COVID Murders: Another American Health Policy Detective Story" is a gripping novel that delves into the complexities of healthcare and the repercussions of political influence during the COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend it for fans of detective stories and those interested in medical mysteries.

The plot seems complex and entwined with political themes. It doesn't seem like something I'd be inclined to read. But I can see how the book might attract readers who enjoy a blend of detective fiction and medical drama.

"The Covid Murders" is a thrilling mystery novel that will have you on the edge of your seat. Set against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, the book follows the story of a homicide detective who must unravel a series of murders that seem to be linked to the virus.

Vigdor skillfully weaves together the intricate plot, creating a story that is both gripping and thought-provoking.

The author expertly develops the characters, allowing us to understand and empathize with each one as they navigate the challenges and dangers of the pandemic. The protagonist, Detective Nick Jenkins, is a complex and flawed character, but one that we can't help but root for.

The setting of the book is particularly noteworthy, as Vigdor brings to life the fear and uncertainty of the pandemic, making it feel even more real and relevant.

I must say that this review is exceptional! I love a good suspense story and when you get a medical detective in the mix, mind-blowing! I would love to read this book because now I am really curious about the death of Thomas Baker and what was really cause of his demise.

Congrats on BOTD!
Greg Vigdor skillfully blends mystery with social relevance in The COVID Murders. It is an engrossing book because of how strongly Irv Tinsley's characters connect. An Enthralling Fusion of Real and Fiction Vigdor's skill as a storyteller is demonstrated by the way he skillfully combines fiction with actual events surrounding the pandemic.

The proverb "The Health of the people is the wealth of a nation" highlights the strong connection between the well-being of a nation's population and its development and economic growth. This connection becomes evident when examining the financial consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The pandemic had direct adverse effects on income due to premature deaths, reduced productivity, and increased workplace absenteeism.
