Love is the Answer ,by Shirin Dalaki, is a short e-book about finding Love in your everyday and in yourself. This should help you overcome your life obstacles and accept yourself more. In other words, it is a motivational book which focuses in loving yourself first and then spreading it out to others.

I chose to review this book as there was no one else who reviewed it (such as on Amazon or Balboa Press). It has 31 very short chapters and each chapter has a theme on love consciousness. In order to read this book, you need to have some kind of FAITH, especially in God, as it touches a lot of times on God's love for us.

What I enjoyed about this book is its message: if you learn to love yourself, you can learn to love others. Love consciousness “is about love, feeling love, giving love, sharing love, being love.” I would recommend it to people who are going through a gloomy period, lack self-confidence and need a boost of love for themselves. It can also be useful to healing any heart wounds, as it encourages the reader to accept the weaknesses within oneself in order to start healing. Or simply a book to read as one is going through a journey of self-realisation.

What I did not enjoy about this book was that it was published without being proof-read. There were a lot of grammar mistakes (such as lack of punctuation or missing articles), misspelled words and fluffy sentences. By this I mean that some sentences have to be re-read a few times to understand what the author wanted to convey. It seems that English is not her first language as there were too many mistakes and difficulties in expressing her ideas. Indeed, her ideas were too rushed which made it sometimes tough to follow the book. By rushed I mean that in the chapters there were various messages the author was trying to express without properly developing them. These kind of motivational books need to be developed slowly and with real-life examples, as it gives the reader the time to warm up and associate to the ideas.

I will give it two out of four stars, as the book does have potential, but it needs to be proof-read, developed and some parts re-written in order for the reader to enjoy the book and not be distracted by silly mistakes!
