Hope is the substance of things unseen and things yearned for.
It's a great strength to anyone dejected and disappointed

I definitely just let life carry me sometimes, waiting for my problems to just go away without me needing to do anything, rather than actually put in the work to change things. I love the idea of hope as something active so I have faith this book will help on that journey.

Hi!

Usually, if I am hoping for something, I will make a plan to make it a reality. If I hope for something and talk about getting it only. I really do not want it to happen.

Reading this book clarifies this but I think that there can be a thin line between both. Sometimes, we deny already settled facts simply because we wish to have hope that we will get something which we are not likely to get. Hoping is working towards that thing happening.

Obviously hope. It may be difficult, but I think it is the best option to repurpose our lives, which is the main source of the book. It describes how hope can make your happiness fireproof. This is also the title of the book, 'Fireproof Happiness'.

It is hope. Hope is what keeps us going when all is lost. It is an important factor in motivating ourselves.

Definitely hope; but after much needed elbow grease. It does not make sense to hope for the best without having put in the effort that is needed to achieve said dreams. Once we've given it our all, we can sit back and watch what unfolds

I think having hope is just a way of comforting ourselves eventhough we are in denial about something.

Hope involves acknowledging reality while maintaining a positive outlook, whereas denial involves ignoring or refusing to accept reality altogether. Hope allows one to face challenges with optimism, while denial prevents acknowledgment and growth.

I have found myself severally in such situation. However I think hope is closely related to faith because they have to be work (the active process) to bring those things we hope for to reality.

The author skillfully clarifies the complex and nuanced role of hope, distinguishing between its transformative power as a motivator and its potential to be misused as a means of avoidance or denial.

I've come to recognize that there's a delicate balance between hope and denial, and I've often found myself inadvertently crossing the line into denial.
