The view to withdraw from what is considered the norm in society to truly discover oneself and one's philosophy of life sounds interesting. To pay attention to dreams and the mental images that pop into your subconscious mind are perhaps not unique ideas but not very common either. Lessons learned from personal experiences are valuable because it's proven, not pure theory. Thank you for your insightful review.

In this book, Gebelein emphasizes psychotherapy and reveals his personal development. This manner may strike home with readers who have gained from counseling as well. Congrats on #BOTD

Bob Gebelein's Happiness and Survival covers ambitious topics by arguing that large-scale psychotherapy is the way to both individual happiness and human survival. The book is a combination of personal memoir, social observations, and self-help philosophy.

Sometimes it is really hard and unimaginable to live by societal Norms. Often the rules made by society kills the flames within us. I recommend this book because it tells the tale of resisting what society deems okay and building one's own happiness.

The sample of this book drew me deeply in—a beautiful message conveyed in an authentic manner of approach. I connected with the message of this book.
I enjoyed the book review as well. Thank you.
I have added this book to my shelf and intend to explore Gebelein's " candid discussion of ego, spirituality, and psychotherapy..."
Congratulations to the author on the courage to live and share his unique path without an authoritative intent.

Although I don't know much about psychotherapy, I appreciate that the author found his own journey and created his philosophy towards happiness and survival and is keen on sharing it with everyone. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll skip this one.
