Bob Gebelein's Happiness & Survival encourages readers to go against the grain in matters of everyday thinking and living. The author contends that this is the only way for us to throw open the doors to our happiness and eventual enlightenment. The views presented by the author in the book are definitely one-of-a-kind. So the reviewer may seem justified in placing him in the elite league consisting of greats such as Aristotle, Freud, and Carl Jung.

After reading the sample, I'm intrigued by the book "Happiness and Survival" by Bob Gebelein. The title itself suggests a thoughtful exploration of the relationship between happiness and survival, which is a topic that resonates with me

The socially accepted norm isn't usually ideal for everyone. I agree with the author's view on happiness and how to navigate life. Thanks for the review, congratulations to the author of BOTD.

This was a wonderful book it is good to have different perspective and open mind about thing you don't know or believe in. Because of this book now I believe reincarnation might exist and not everything it's about the physical it is also about the spiritual. There are a lot of thing that happens in our life that the physical can't explain. Thank you for this

Wow suggesting this belongs in school curriculums is a big call, but certainly sounds legit from what people will get from it. It seems to follow a lot of the principles of Eckhart's books In It Together so I'm keen to see the similarities.

I'm open to exploring other people way of obtaining happiness that differs from the traditional way. From what I read so far, the author is well-knowledgeable in what he's teaching and the topics seem promising. I cannot wait to get this book and get some good nuggets from it.

Amazing book with helpful ideas. I actually like it in the first place which means this book is pretty good to be one of the best books ever. It gives and encourage you to have a happiness with yourself and not to be dependent with what other people are thinking about.

Gebelein's self-help book shares his reasoning why every person is the highest authority to make decisions about his or her own beliefs. He also recommends that the reader has had positive experiences with psychotherapy in order to understand his philosophy. Add this to your library if you are seeking a fresh perspective on finding happiness. Great book review!

Thank you for your thorough review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I thought it was interesting how he gave examples from his life, but didn't act authoritative to the reader. I hope that many others will enjoy reading this book. As I've studied psychology in school, and way past that time in my life, I will pass on it now.
