Family drama has a way of mixing relaxing and thrilling moments to create a wonderful tale. I'd like to read Madison and Justin's story. I find the events leading to their wedding in Jamaica interesting.

Step-siblings falling in love is not unheard of, but families are not always receptive to this idea. I like that the author used this as the focal point and brought out authentic human emotions in this book. Thanks for the review!

As The Secrets Turn by B. Truly followed Madison Guillory and her fiance, Justin Jenkins' long trip to Jamaica for their "till death do us part" vows. Justin's paternal grandmother was born in Jamaica, which was the reason for their choice of wedding location. The couple had been through a lot but had found their way to each other, irrespective of the fact that they were step-siblings, plus the whole debacle with Justin's twin brother, Jackson.

This book looks like a lot of fun, and I wish the author much success in finding an appreciative reading audience. But since I don't typically read books with plotlines established in previous novels, I'll take a pass. Congrats on BOTD.

The story dropped me in the middle of a series of family dramas — some hilarious and others not so much. The story started with a family event and was nothing short of exciting, with a long trail of spilled secrets left behind. It was a roller coaster of one dramatic incident to another. It reminded me of the drama that usually went down in Madea's Family Reunion. The Jenkins and the Guillory family brought with them a lot of thrill. Despite all the commotion, Truly's story was one about the bonds of family and the love they share, no matter how unconventional.

Nice review! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t particularly curious about how deep the step-sibling aspect of the main couple’s relationship is delved into. I’m well aware of how (reasonably) divisive the “step-siblings to lovers” trope can be. So, my thought would be that if you could (at least) avoid glossing over that fact, while having a compelling love story, you just might win more people over.

Regardless, congrats to the author on BOTD!

Thank you for a great review.
The book's title is captivating, and clearly, from this review, the book lives up to its name.
I am inquisitive about the ultimate revelations and whether Madison and Justin eventually concluded their vows.
I enjoyed watching Madea's Family Reunion and can easily connect to how you relate this plot in comparison. It does sound thrilling, with much value to be obtained in terms of family bonds ( I like this).
Congratulations to the author!

Thank you for sharing your detailed and insightful review of "As The Secrets Turn" by B. Truly! Your description of the story's setting in Jamaica for Madison and Justin's wedding, along with the family dynamics and drama, paints a vivid picture of the plot's excitement and depth. The way you've highlighted the characters' realism and the blend of mystery, thriller, and romance has piqued my interest in reading the book myself. I appreciate your recommendation and look forward to experiencing the bonds of family and unconventional love that you've described.

This book seems to have an interesting plot and I would love to understand how Justin and Madison love live were and understand which bad omens were discussed in this book.

Madison and Justin’s destination wedding in Jamaica is not a smooth ride, as bad omens are manifesting everywhere. The author conveys the importance of family bonds and love through her book. Hilarious moments and family drama move the plot forward. Strong characters like Madison and Tanya inspire readers. I really liked reading your review, especially your detailed explanation of the characters in this story.

Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book, because family dramas were never my cup of tea, but fortunately I know just the person to recommend it. Considering that "The Forsyte Saga" is her favorite book, I believe this family's dynamics will be entertaining for her to read as well. Congrats on BOTD!

It's good to know that the fiction we read are not entirely fictional. I love the fact that this book shows relationships for what they are not through some rose and flower lens. And the warm love Madison and Justin have, have bought me. Gonna read for sure.

This is a story about a couple who decide to get married in Jamaica, but as they prepare for the wedding, strange and unexpected events unravel. Human love is beautiful but not perfect, and this book showcases that: our love and its limitations.
