Review of Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book
In her book Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, Kalliope Barlis provides valuable guidance for individuals looking to enhance their golfing skills, whether they are beginners or regular players. The manual serves as a comprehensive guide, teaching readers how to harness the power of their minds and integrate innovative golf techniques into their game. Barlis emphasizes the importance of starting with the mind and the brain when it comes to playing golf, offering insights into golf-related mental exercises. She highlights the significant impact that one's thoughts can have on gameplay and overall outcomes. In addition to mental exercises, the author introduces various other activities and principles to ensure that every mental image is noteworthy. Barlis encourages individuals to set objectives for the type of golfer they aspire to become, emphasizing self-development and improvement. To pave the way for future success in golf, she underscores the significance of regular practice and the continual refinement of essential skills.
I liked how this book painted a clear picture of golf and made it easy to grasp. The author's way of engaging with readers was a standout for me. The message was straightforward, and surprisingly, I learned from the book that playing golf involves both the inside and outside of our bodies. Before this book, I did not know that there was a way to position the club to get the perfect hit, but after reading, I learned about this and will be trying it out soon. It gave me a whole new perspective on the game and how to improve. The guidelines and ideas made me see that golf isn't just a sport but something we can use daily.
I love everything about this book, and I can't find any faults. The illustrations provided by the author are fantastic, and I appreciate how they demonstrate how to do things rather than just telling you. The inclusion of graphics made the book even more accessible and enjoyable to read. It helped me visualize and grasp the author's messages more effectively. The book is well edited and professionally edited. I would easily give it 5 out of 5 stars for the author's original and straightforward writing style.
This book is a great pick if you're into golf or want to know more about the game. It's got valuable principles that can help both beginners and seasoned players. It's a good read for anyone passionate about golf.
