A thought-provoking piece indeed. The author adeptly crafts a fictional narrative that sheds light on the challenges surrounding medical prescriptions, painkiller safety, and addiction. It's a timely exploration of an issue that demands attention. Nice review.

It's so unbelievable that someone could be prescribed a medication that could get them hooked.
Shannon's case was a very pathetic one. I hope she survived.
This sounds like a great book. Congrats.

Your takeaway about accountability and the law is spot on. Regardless of one's background or status, everyone should be held accountable for their actions, especially when they contribute to such widespread harm

I totally agree with the reviewer's opinion, the book is great in every way possible! It was quite some time since I enjoyed a book this much and, overall, one so well-balanced. The story is entertaining in the gripping and suspense parts, but also relates to serious issues that need to be addressed by society. Loved every moment reading it and wholeheartedly congratulate on BOTD!

The Prescription by K. C. Gilbert is a fictional novel that highlights issues about drug dependence caused due to prescription drugs. It was surprising to hear about the changes in Shannon as described in the first chapter. Will Casey Cooper find justice for the victims of this huge racket the medical industry was pulling? Grab a copy of this book to find out. Congratulations on the BOTD!

"The Prescription" by K. C. Gilbert is a work of fiction that portrays how pharmaceutical companies have ruined the lives of people by producing and marketing a painkiller. Opioids and Zilontin are highly addictive and can lead to the use of other deadly drugs. The book follows the story of Chris and her friend Shannon where Shannon is a victim. I recommend reading this book to find out more about this gripping story. Congrats on BOTD!!

Opioid is a dangerous drug and I've hard about it before as being addictive. In my honest opinion some drug manufacturers intentionally make addictive drugs so that they can increase sales and don't care if they harm the patient in return. Congratulations in making a book of the day.

K. C. Gilberts uses this fictional story to shed light on real-life issues, in this case, the addictive nature of some painkillers, their effects on a patient, and, of course, the justice that the victims deserve. With a 5-star rating, readers interested in legal matters and the pharmaceutical industry are sure to enjoy it. Congrats on BOTD!
