OBC or kindle app works the best for me.

I have used a variety of reading apps on my smartphone, including Amazon Kindle, Google Play Books, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kobo Books, Libby, FBReader, and KyBook. Each app has its own strengths and features, such as support for different formats, customization options, and integration with cloud storage services.

I’m so intrigued reading about these other reading apps! Besides Kindle and my library’s app, Libby, I wasn’t aware of other reading apps. I’m definitely going to check some out now!

To be fair I've only tried the Nook and the Kindle app on my smartphone. My personal favorite is the Kindle App because it's so user friendly! It's easy to skip around the book to another chapter and bookmark all of your favorite parts of the book. I also like that the app automatically saves your last location in the book even if you accidentally close the app (this happens to me often). The app also allow you to enlarge the text if you need to. I also like that instead of forcing you to scroll to read one page, the book is divided into pages that can be fully read on the screen of your phone.

Being the only app I have for reading books other than the new OBC reading app, I have been enjoying reading books on my Kindle for a long time. You can read on the Kindle without stress because it's easy to use. For those who have never used a Kindle before or are just getting started, this reading app is excellent.

For e-reading, I like to use the Amazon Kindle app because it makes it easy to find free books to read in addition to the books I've personally purchased. Additionally, using the app is stress-free.

I didn't think to look for other apps to read on aside from the Kindle app. Thank you for asking this!

Because it's a matter of preference, I'll take my Amazon Kindle with me everywhere. Because of its self-purchase approach and review outlines, I like it more. Occasionally, I stick with one ebook reader and don't look for others. When you're somewhere you can't stare at your phone all the time, audio listening is great.

I personally prefer using kindle unlimited! It is one of the few that has a good formatting set up for iPhones

I use the kindle app almost exclusively but recently got Kobo. I've tried out Apple Books, and the reader on there is pretty decent, but I think I am more comfortable with Kindle app just because it is the most familiar. From all of the comments on here, it sounds like I am missing out by not checking out Moon+ so will definitely be taking some time to download that and give it a go!

CloudLibrary is one that I think works well and is a library sourced one. Recently, our library has also added Boundless and it doesn’t operate quite as smoothly.
