Autism Spectrum Disorder is a mental condition that affects social interactions and behavior of its victims. Unfortunately, Darryl Jefferson was diagnosed with this disorder. In his book, Musings of an Autistic Mind, he writes about his life as an autistic person. He tells us not only about his life experiences but also about his friends and family. He goes ahead to tell us about how hard it was for him to get into a relationship because of his disorder and to solve this problem, he preferred escorts. He, however, managed to get into a relationship but it was so toxic. One good thing that came out of it is that he became an autism psychologist. But if I say more, I might end up stating many spoilers so you can grab yourself a copy of this book instead.

At the beginning of this book, I was greeted with definitions of different personalities and types of people and this was really good to read because it helped me understand the different kinds of people I have met in relationships. I understood what kind of female I was and the kind of partners I should watch out for.

I also enjoyed reading about the author's experiences with escorts. At first, I was judgmental but after I got to know about how much fun he had with them, I ended up envying him because I would also very much love to have the experiences he had with them.

There is nothing I disliked about this book because it was a fun read and I enjoyed learning about his experience as an autistic person. I also learned a lot about different personalities and for all the above reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

The book seems to have been well edited since I didn't encounter any errors while reading it. This book should not be read by children because of the presence of several adult scenes in the book. People with autism will, however, enjoy it because it can teach them how to cope with the condition.

I've read a few reviews about this book, but yours has been one of the most intriguing, especially when you mentioned that the character eventually becomes a psychologist specializing in autism.
