"Helpers Anonymous" is a memoir about Jeanne Tiberio's suffering from muscle dystrophy and her relationship with different personal care attendants. She seems to have a good heart, giving her personal care attendants second chances to redeem themselves. I like that she never allowed herself to be bullied or pressured because of her disability. A great audiobook. Congratulations on BOTD!

In this audio book the author shares ber encounter with Muscle Dystrophy and effects of drugs on Personal Care Attendants. Through a narrator the author explains how personal care assistants can be bullies but for her she refused to be bullied. Her story is very inspiring to those who seek or would want to seek services of a personal care giver.

I'm not a fan of memoirs, but I'm curious about the stories Jeanne has to tell about her experience with PCAs. I can't imagine how hard it was for her to adjust to her new condition and then to have those who were supposed to help her make things worse. I also admire her courage and easy spirit to openly talk about her experience through her book.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Jeanne's experience of being bullied because of her disability. It truly breaks my heart. It highlights how much progress humanity still needs to make in understanding and accepting people with different disabilities. This topic is quite sensitive for me. Nonetheless, thank you very much for sharing the review.

It is admirable that someone suffering from a disability will not allow others to bully her. Making people aware of the dangers of drug abuse is necessary and can never be emphasized enough. I wasn't keen on reading this book but after reading the review, I've changed my mind.

Jeanne's experience reflects the challenges encountered by numerous individuals amid the opioid crisis. Her bravery and honest narration serve as a reminder of how resilient people can be even when facing tough times.

"Helpers Anonymous," authored by Jeanne Tiberio, she shares her stories involving the different Personal Care Attendants she spent time with. The struggles she endured must have been heartbreaking, as can be seen in Chapter 1, where she described how she blacked out during gym class and blamed herself for it. Congrats BOTD!

Some facts regarding the opioid addiction issue and how "medicine" has made people ill. Jeanne Tiberio also talks about her experiences with Personal Care Attendants during that difficult period. A clear and concise review. Congrats on BOTD.

This is the kind of book that I think many people will relate to the author. We live in a time where we think that nothing will ever happen to us, but life can change in the blink of an eye. It is also a clear message to those that are in charge of other people to treat them well. Physically, they might not be able to stand up to us but they have feelings. The best medication that we can ever give the vulnerable is patience and good treatment.
