The author's story about struggling with and adapting to living with a neuromuscular disease is inspiring and insightful. This book highlights both the unique relationship patients share with their caregivers and the negative effects of drug abuse. Congrats on BOTD!

The way Jeanne navigates her experiences with PCAs is both enlightening and empowering. Her determination not to be defined by her disability is a powerful message. This book seems like a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration and understanding.

Jeanne Tiberio in her book "Helpers Anonymous" shares her experiences as a disabled person, hiring a personal care attendant ( PCA's)and how the system was defeated by some of the PCA's by drug abuse. Many people would become PCA's as they can misuse their position to get drugs like Opioid for themselves as addicts. "One evening when she was irritable, Amanda announced that she had to get something from her truck outside. When she returned 20 minutes later, Amanda was talking faster and laughing aloud to herself." It's so scary to see someone who is going to take care of you, is an addict. Congrats on BOTD

Helpers anonymous is based on the writers struggle through disability. Living a healthy life and then going through a disability is really a difficult situation which one has to go through. The book shares insightful views and opinion on this topic and is an important read for those who are not aware of such situations.

It's inspiring to see how Jeanne didn't allow her disability to define her and stood up against bullying. Her story not only educates but also empowers readers to advocate for themselves and others in similar situations.

I think Jeanne's story is inspiring. People who may be in similar situations would find a better way to cope after reading her book. I think it is also bring awareness to the entire world about what goes on between PCAs and people living with disability.

It's alarming how easily anyone can become a caregiver, and the consequences of that can be dire. Jeanne's courage to share her story sheds light on an often overlooked aspect of healthcare, and I'm eager to dive deeper into her experiences.

I really commend the fact that you were able to bear with an audiobook. You are truly one of a kind. Because my attention span would never let me finish the book. According to This review I can only imagine Jeannie went through as We all know caring for the sick is not easy. I can't wait to find out more by going through the book.
