This well-written book has me intrigued based on your review. I want to know the author's experiences with Christian Science, criminality, relationships, and of course, his life altering event. :techie-studyinggray:

It's inspiring that Paul Scott tells his story both about his successes and challenges, including regarding his health. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll pass on this book.

I enjoyed reading your review, Chinenye. My first impression from sampling this memoir is much alike yours - I am very impressed. The opening chapter describing Paul's near-death experience with cardiac arrest is riveting. In your review, you shed good light on the horizons and perspective of this book, and intrigued me to read it, thank you!

This is an interesting book detailing the life of the author and the troubles he experiences. It starts with the day he died (according to medical officials) and continues with his fight for recovery after.

The author's honesty and transparency in narrating his life events show the maturity of his personality. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of memoirs, but I hope it reaches its intended audience.
