The Woman Who Wasn't There

Has anyone else read The Woman Who Wasn't There by Robin Gaby Fisher and Angelo J. Guglielmo Jr? I read this a little over a year ago and it was unbelievable what Tania Head got away with. This story is basically about one of the survivors of the World Trade Center, Tania Head, who became President of a survival group and was an advocate for everyone who basically lied about being in the World Trade Center on 9/11! She wasn't even in the country when it happened! I read the book and watched the documentary and wow, just wow. Well written with perspectives from people she knew throughout her time spent in New York after the tragedy. It was insane reading her story and watching it collapse!

I get angry just thinking about what she did, so I'm not about to read a book about it - even though you're the second person I've come across who's found it fascinating.

Meanwhile, the title (both of the book and of your post) put me in mind of T.S. Eliot's Macavity, the cat who "wasn't there".

This story is amazing - amazing that she got away with it! She had some nerve....

However, the writing wasn't that great and could have benefited from better editing. It was a bit dry and lagged in places.

I didn't realize this was a book! I just recently watched the documentary on Netflix. Has anyone read the book and seen the documentary? Is it worth reading after already seeing it?
