I prefer paperbacks. They're easy to carry and lightweight. I don't like having a heavy bag.

Hardcover, as I don't like dog ears on my books. Having said that, I usually settle for paperbacks when I buy physical books, as they are easy to handle practically and cost FAR less.

I prefer paperback over hardcover as it is easy to carr and due to less weight it can even be carried while travelling.

I think it is easier to read paperback but hardcovers always look prettier!

It is easier to travel with paperback since it is lighter and requires lesser space. Hardcover is good when I plan to keep the book for years in one house and re-read it several times.

Definitely paperback, just easier to handle and I have a habit of folding my book down the middle while reading and hardback would definitely crack. Plus they’re cheaper and smaller.

Paperbacks! Hardcovers are difficult to handle and also to store, they can be soo pretty but with paperback you can take them anywhere and it takes less space.

I would go with a Paperback instead of a hardcover for the ease it brings to me. to read a hardcover book, I would need to sit at a table or a near-formal way, but that does not apply to a paperback.

I will always choose paperback at any point in time. It is easier to read and understand.

I’m a paperback kinda gal! Mainly because I read on the go and a paperback is easier to carry… but I can’t stand it when the covers curl!!! That being said- I am like the original poster here and if I’m reading a series they have to all be the same format.

As a kid, I always hated hardcovers because they were more expensive and the cover was harder to hold with small hands than the paperback. Now I don't mind them and I actually appreciate them more now that I learned how to book bind. I love the craft behind it. Have you ever walked into a bookshop with a section dedicated to only hardcovers? Its like being transported into something right out of a fantasy world.

Hardcover, because it lasts longer. Paperbacks get destroyed so quickly. :(
