A good thriller wouldn't be complete without unexpected developments. The story could have surprising twists and turns that keep you guessing throughout.

This book is the next installment in the spy series featuring Lara and Uri as they investigate yet another murky terrorist plot. I am particularly intrigued by the thought-provoking examination of the concept of heroes and villains in the book.

A massacre at Los Angeles Mall puts a stop to agents Lara and Uriโ€™s peaceful vacation. The US suspects the gold reserve is the target. But what is the truth? This book in the Lara and Uri spy series explores their personal lives. Lara has to deal with gender bias. This book is an action-packed thriller.

The background of the Iran-US conflict combined with the background of the country of Israel, which I did not know about, makes this crime, action, and thriller story even more interesting. Reading your review makes me even more eager to read this book. Thank you for writing this. What a great review.

Lara and Uri, likely the lead investigators, could be well-developed characters with interesting backgrounds and motivations. Their expertise from their respective agencies (FBI and Mossad) could provide a dynamic partnership.
