Review of Speedy Hurled Through Havoc
The book "Speedy Hurled Through Havoc" is about Knoderer, who has an immense passion for the circus and painting. The author discusses how he was able to fight for his dreams despite the various challenges he faced.
Knoderer is a young man who was drawn to his dad; he always followed in his dad's footsteps and viewed him as his hero. One notable aspect of Knoderer's relationship with his dad was that his dad always felt he was not good enough. When Knoderer joined the circus, his dad was not satisfied because he felt it wasn't a perfect career for him. Despite this, they still had a strong relationship. Knoderer never stopped loving his dreams and pursuing them, despite how his dad viewed his career choices.
Billy was Knoderer's dad, and he had a best friend named Fred. While growing up, Billy and Fred always went to shows because they loved the circus. A significant part of this book discusses the writer's dad and why the writer was so drawn to him and always wanted to please him. The book delves into Billy's childhood and the things he loved, including Christmas and the circus. Readers will notice the immense love the writer had for his dad and his continuous willingness to follow in his footsteps and please him. They will also notice that Knoderer didn't have a very simple childhood because his dad was not always emotionally and physically present.
I found nothing to dislike about this book. It is a well-described autobiography. The wording is easy to understand and written in simple English, making it accessible for readers. The narrative is thoroughly detailed, allowing readers to share in the writer's experiences. I also didn't notice any grammatical errors, indicating proper editing. All this prompts me to give this book a five out of five rating.
In conclusion, this book would be a good read for many people. I would recommend it to those who love biographies or autobiographies, as well as to those who enjoy educational and informative books about friendship and family, as that is what this book is mostly about.
