Your review describes and sums up a cookbook I want to get for my grandchildren. Kids love to have the opportunity to help in the kitchen. This book will foster a love of cooking and baking in the children that use it. Future chefs in the making! Chocolate chip cookies and banana bread after a plate of Mediterranean bell peppers?! Yummy!

Okay, the title so got me. I just couldn't scroll further without taking a look. And I must tell you, I love what I read about the book.
"Recipe Book for Kids" by Lloyd Edward Collins is such an interesting read. My first thought was, "The naysayers who wonder what kids would be doing in a kitchen in the first place, and to have to work with a recipe would have a huge fit with this book." But it was refreshing reading how the Author factored in the safety aspect considering that the guide was for kids. One major benefit of this book that appeals to me personally is the inclusion of intermediate recipes, which introduce children to international cuisine. What's not to love about the book? I'd love to get a copy for my children, and I'd gladly recommend this book to willing parents for their children.

How smart to structure the book with tools first, and then the easier and sweeter recipes up front in order to get some delicious cooking wins achieved, and then progress to the more intermediate and multicultural recipes.
