have you tried "The bladed faith" by David Dalglish
Its an adult epic fantasy, it's fast paced and filled with action, I personally really enjoyed it.

One excellent book I'd recommend is "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern. It's a captivating tale of two young illusionists, bound in a magical competition that spans decades and takes place within the confines of a mysterious circus that only opens at night. With its enchanting prose, rich imagery, and intricate plot, it's a book that will transport you to a world of wonder and magic from the very first page.
