I admired Ali's resilience in adapting to his new life in the United States after growing up in Pakistan. However, his early childhood attempt to save his dying dog impressed me the most. As an animal rescuer, I instantly connected with Ali and adored him for his empathy, kindness, and determination.

I loved the freedoms offered by America, as explained by Ali. The freedom to build, to religion, to fail, and to self-govern, are everyone's dreams. The author was very open to explaining the instañces in that he felt these freedoms worked well for him. His change of religion, his love life, his academic life, and many other instances in the author's life are events that happen in our daily lives. I loved this!

I admired Master's tenacity in overcoming all obstacles in every field. First came self-awareness and the brave decision to become a Christian. It was very touching to see how much he connected with Jesus Christ.

I liked the Ali's perspective on changing life through resilience which was blended with humor and courage. Another thing which captured my liking was how he understood the phenomenon of others opinions towards immigrants.

I liked it when the author went back to Pakistan after his family found out that he was serious about getting to know God and how God was even there with him when it seemed like he would be alone and he even received many Christian support through letters and a man he was pulled to.
