Congrats to the BOTD author! From the review, I already feel Billy is likeable. His journey in the book must be a tough one, but also an inspiration. I can't wait to know more. Thanks for a free copy.

Gordon Bell's " tale of tragedy and reflection is depicted through the strong development of characters in this book dealing with complex issues.
There are matters of murder, depression, potential suicide, adoption, and a sexual identity crisis
The " solace" found in Christian faith despite one's life's challenges is also explored with a view of the " rapture and accepting Jesus".
Thank you for a well-expressed review.
Congratulations to the author.

Good review! You explained what you liked and disliked about the book. I'm not a religious person, so I will skip this book.

The story of Billy Lymon, who finds unique strength and peace after finding Jesus. As an orphan, hiding his homosexuality from people and his depression taking him to the verge of committing suicide, his foster aunt and uncle will turn his life around by introducing him to God. It sounds like an incredibly inspiring and motivational story.

Sounds like a book with a rich story and detailed character work. Christianity literature is generally not for me though.

Christianity is about loving people, even if Christians do not agree or condone certain lifestyles or behaviors. Many Christians, including myself, could learn a lot from this book. Thanks for the review!

I'm glad that the author chose to intermingle human sexuality with Christianity positively. However, I don't read Christian novels, so I will have to pass on this. I congratulate the author and wish him success in finding an appreciative audience.

In today's society, a conversation about homosexuality and Christianity is controversial and thought-provoking. "Hanging Out with the Most High God Books One and Two" addresses this topic very well. Billy's story is compelling, and I would delve into the book and read it. Thanks, author, for the free copy of the book, and congratulations on earning BOTD!
