I'm not a follower of the Christian mythos, so this book isn't for me. However, it appears that the author has a powerful story and message for those who believe. Congratulations to him on BOTD.

If this book could teach how to love spiritual matters better, I would certainly go for it. I have been looking for ways to desire spiritual matters more but have often failed because the material worldly pursuits seem sometimes more attractive.

It is great how the author shared his rich knowledge and experience of his Christian faith journey with his readers. Gene Maynard in his book, Trekking, brought some profound insight to light using the physical aspect of trekking to emphasize spiritual truths. One can garner from the review that the author wrote in a clear engaging style making it easy for readers to understand his thoughts. Commendably, the book was well written and had no errors. Quite a rare occurrence, and worthy of its 5-star rating.
