Thought Prints is Michael Jai McKenzie's first poetry collection, in which he mainly collects love poems inspired by his feelings for his wife. Occasionally, the author also includes poems in which the topic concerns society and life. It is a poetic collection that recounts sincere feelings and deep emotions.

I liked this book very much, and I believe all those who love poetry will be equally fascinated. In particular, I appreciated the sincerity with which the author describes his feelings and the simple and clear way in which he represents the situations. Many of the love poems are touching because of how beautiful they are, but I must say that I also appreciated the few poems that are not about this theme. They share the same depth and subtlety as the others, so I was pleasantly surprised that they did not create confusion or unnecessary breaks; I must actually say that they enrich the book.

If I have to think of a negative side, I must confess that I did not like that some poems were entirely written in capital letters because it made my reading less pleasant. This, however, is just my personal preference, and I will not consider this aspect in my overall rating of the book.

As for the typos, I found very few, so I must say the book is very well-edited. Since I read the paperback edition, I would add that the design is excellent, although I would have appreciated an index to more easily find the poems I liked the most.

It is with great pleasure that I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I am sure this book will enchant all those who like love poems and cannot resist the description of lively and sincere feelings. I recommend it to them wholeheartedly with the certainty that they will not be disappointed.
