A valuable guide to improving your chess skills. This book is not just about chess strategies and tactics; the author also lets us know about the brief history and ancient connections of chess. A reader will learn how to read the board and play both offensive and defensive games after reading this book. That was a thorough review.

As a casual chess player, I found "Chess Strategies for Beginners" by Eric H. Schuelke to be an invaluable resource. The book caters to both novice players aiming to master the game and experienced players looking to refine their skills. Schuelke begins with a brief history of chess, which I found fascinating and informative. He then delves into various tactics (short-term plans) and strategies (long-term plans), clearly explaining them in simple language. The inclusion of graphical images and real-life games from famous chess masters aids comprehension and enriches the learning experience. Schuelke's extensive knowledge is evident, making the book a well-researched and insightful guide.

I’m not an avid lover of chess, but my nephew is starting to learn how to play it so this could be a great guidebook to teach us both together and help us improve while having fun. And I really appreciate that there are graphic images to help understand better, so thanks for sharing that in your review!
