The book details the trials and journey of a daughter determined to change her life in order to clear her father’s name and make people aware of Mirko Beljanski’s contributions to the advancement of science. Her father discovered an alternative medicine to cure cancer, but his work was discredited and he was turned against by the scientific community. Sylvie’s dream is to restore her father's legacy and set the record straight. Her determination has sparked my interest, and I am eager to read the book further to see how she fares.
I agree with you there is nothing to dislike about this book, thank you for such an insightful review. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

As someone looking into more holistic/homeopathic care for personal reasons and just solely on the basis of beating cancer, I’m all for this. Any genuine progress that’s been made and proven to be safe (or can be made as such) should be counted if we are truly going to advance to a better, brighter future. All those who are willing to give integrative medicine a chance will find this book a valuable source of information. The author does not blindly dismiss the benefits of allopathic treatments. On the contrary, her greatest merit is that she pleads for a holistic approach to medicine and the convergent action of both traditional and alternative cures.

"Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure" by Sylvie Beljanski is a very well-written and thought-provoking read for people dealing with cancer and other chronic illnesses (whether themselves or a loved one). I agree that people who believe in integrative medicine will find this book resourceful. I also agree that the book's action moments read like something that could be made into a limited series. Although I did not like the lack of mainstream science and sometimes borderline paranoia of everyone is out to get us, I did enjoy the book overall.
