This book sounds greater like a treatment than a survival story. I would like to thanks for the super assessment. Sylvie's commitment to her father's research on alternative, natural, and integrative anti-cancer treatments is praiseworthy. It is sad that her efforts to continue Mirco Beljanski's work have to complement Sylvie's efforts to clear her father's name. All in all, like you, I would rate this book all stars.

This is one of the best books I have ever read in the non-fiction category. Sylvie Beljanski's account of her father, Mirko Beljanski's research, is credible and inspiring. Mirko had identified two natural substances capable of arresting the development of cancer cells that could be used simultaneously with or without conventional cancer treatments. President Francois Mitterrand learned of these substances and summoned a doctor, who was using Mirko's substsances to treat his prostate cancer patients, to treat him for advanced prostate cancer. This treatment enabled Mitterrand to complete his term as the President of France to the dismay of politicians and pharmaceutical lobbyists. The story of these natural substances was spreading. Then all hell broke loose following Mitterrand's successful completion of his term and then death 9 months later.

Cancer being a disease feared by many and in some cases chemotherapy doesn't work I believe it will be nice to have an alternate option and that's why I like Sylvie's and Mirko researching for alternative ways that will help in managing certain diseases in a healthy way.
