Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

Although, I know we are not supposed to judge a book by its cover, I absolutely decided to read this book because of the cover. I'm glad I did too because it was such a wonderful read.

I was drawn to 'Quest: Finding Freddie: Reflections from the Other Side' by Thomas Richard Spradlin because of its unique blend of historical nonfiction, adventure, and personal reflection. The book's premise, which follows the author's quest to locate and rescue a prominent businessman in 1970s Nigeria, intrigued me. I was also interested in the cultural and political insights the book promised to offer, as well as the author's personal journey and reflections

I honestly wanted to read something different from my normal go-to fantasy genre. This book was perfect for switching it up. It had mystery and adventure that sparked my interest. I also enjoyed learning information about Nigeria.

I really wanted to know more about what the author had in mind. Writing about the history of a nation is not an easy thing. I was impressed after all.
