Considering the contents of "The Advent of Time" and the review, basic background knowledge of Christian Theology sounds essential to derive the relatively deep and meaningful message expressed concerning " suffering in the context of an all-loving and all-powerful God." I find it also beneficial to know that "this book is based on substantial references."

The author’s novel approach and extensive references are praiseworthy, presenting a fresh view rooted in faith, reason, and the experience of love.
However, there are several aspects that merit closer examination.
Firstly, while the book claims to offer a logical solution to suffering, it depends heavily on established Christian doctrines without sufficiently exploring counterarguments or alternative perspectives.
This might not appeal to readers looking for a balanced discussion that includes various theological and philosophical viewpoints.
The over reliance on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, while maintaining orthodoxy, may also restrict the book's appeal to a broader Christian audience. Different denominations have varied interpretations of suffering and God's role in it, and incorporating these could have enriched the discussion.
The language and complexity of the theological concepts presented might be a hurdle for those without a strong background in Christian theology.
Although the book is praised for being engaging and accessible, the depth of the discourse could still be overwhelming for lay readers.
Simplifying some concepts or providing more introductory explanations could make it more approachable.
The claim that there is nothing to dislike about the book seems somewhat exaggerated. Every work has room for improvement. For example, a deeper engagement with real-world applications of the theological concepts discussed would have added practical relevance to the theoretical discussions.
The book encourages critical engagement but still presents a singular perspective.
Explicitly inviting dialogue with other theological viewpoints could foster a richer understanding of the complexities surrounding the problem of suffering. In conclusion, "The Advent of Time" is a commendable effort in addressing the problem of suffering within Christian theology. A more inclusive and balanced approach, along with greater accessibility, could enhance its impact and appeal to a wider audience.
