Demonslayer by Ian Eviston is book one in the Vanguard Chronicles series. Spirit and his sister, Emily, were separated from their parents at an early age and grew up in a dangerous environment in Sepharad. Emily cared for Spirit all their life, and now her leukemia is slowly killing her. Will Spirit be able to save her and pay for her expensive treatments? Will he succeed in his mission to join Vanguard? Congratulations on the BOTD!

Demonslayer" by Ian P. Eviston is simply epic and the author has a way of playing around with names, Archdemon is the son while Demonarch is the father. Just simple and funny.

Congrats on BOTD! A nice balance was brought to the plot by the humor that was interwoven among the tremendous action and drama, such as Dimitri's obsession with his tie. It increased the characters' humanity and relatability, which improved my appreciation of the work as a whole.
