Detox Your Circle, Activate Your Destiny by Ernest Sears Jr. is a practical book by the author, offering a guide to his readers on the way to activate their destiny. The author of this book, which is divided into two parts and consists of fourteen chapters, talks about thirteen toxic red flags that you need to get rid of in order to activate your destiny. These toxic red flags can either be in your life as a person or in the life of your circle—your close friends or associates. What is essential is understanding which of these toxic flags are present and how to get rid of them. Beginning from the red flag of apathy to the red flag of denial, the author lists symptoms to watch out for and also antidotes to these toxins. Are you in transition and looking for how to activate your destiny? Then all you need is a jump-start, a detox to free your life and circle from toxins that slowly poison you and derails you from fulfilling your destiny.

The author of this book provides practical lessons and explains each of these toxins and how they affect your life. He asks his readers to examine their lives and those of their close associates to see if any of these red flags are present, because the people that you associate with will affect how your life will be.

What I find most fascinating about the book is the fact that the author is not just writing from a theoretical aspect or point of view; he is someone who has faced challenges in life, risen to a high level, and worked in corporate America. Using the wealth of experience that he has gained over time, he writes this book.

I found nothing to dislike about this book; it was exceptionally edited, and I commend the editor for ensuring the book was free of typographical errors. I learned a lot from this book: it is essential to draw the line between having a good time and being reckless. While relaxation and taking time off from work are necessary, it becomes a problem when there is no balance. When the time you take off for blowing steam now begins to affect your work time, then that line has been crossed.

I give this book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It was a valuable experience reading it. Toxins, if not discovered early, will slowly poison you, and this book was an eye opener, explaining the toxic red flags in clear terms so that no one will miss it. I recommend this book to seekers of destiny, those who are in transition, whether you are in college or you just finished college thinking what's next or you're facing a midlife crisis or you've lived life and retired and you're thinking what now. This book is essential because it shows that when you detox, you free yourself of those things causing doubt or unfulfillment.
