The personal experiences of someone with courage, compassion and caring should have a lot to teach us. It's true that something we dread may sometimes be the catalyst for change that we were waiting for. Thank you for your informative review.

Great review Island of Misfits joy is an interesting novel. In life a lot of fears prevent people from going after their dreams with the fear of failing which the author shows through his transition to a coaching professional not forgetting the author also shows his missteps which shows that everything has ups and downs but in trusting God and believing in ourselves we can achieve any dream we have.

I quite agree with the reviewer-"Island Of Misfit Joys" by Paul E. Kotz makes for an enjoyable reading experience. An underlying theme in this novel is the encouragement for us to love ourselves; warts and all and persevere to accomplish tasks that hitherto seemed insurmountable. An important lesson I learned from this book is how to be gentle and kind when meeting new people; as we are oblivious of their internal struggles and challenges in life.
