I have a Nook. I received a Nook Glow Light for Christmas (after my ex-boyfriend threw my first one away!) and I absolutely love it. Barnes and Noble is my bookstore and I love their tablets. I have their apps too on my phone! (:

I have a kindle because it was cheaper and I use amazon often. Plus, it had more tablet features than the nook at the time I purchased it.
Adventure...one part stupidty plus two parts perseverence....yeah, that's me!

I have a Nook because it was a gift from my Mom. I originally wanted a Kindle, however I really enjoy my Nook. Although, I may upgrade mine soon since it is the first generation Nook and the newer models have definitely been improved.

I have a Kindle for Christmas. I wanted on because its easier then going to a store and trying to find one and you dont have to wait on a book that you ordered online, Its automatically there and you can begin reading.

I'm most definitely a Kindle user. Although I do have a membership with Barnes & Noble, I found the Kindle seemed more feasible since I shop on Amazon all the time. I hear the Nook is similar or just as good as the Kindle, but unless I had one to compare, I can't make that claim. I do love my Kindle. I'm still using the original Kindle Fire. Once I fill that up, I'll go to the Kindle HD, I suppose.

I have a Kindle. My husband got it for me for our first Christmas. I was against E-readers but since I got it I love it and read most of my books on there now!

Have had a Kindle for over 3 years. Now have almost 4000 books for it. Haven't read them all so I like that Amazon tells me I already bought that book I'm interested in.

I originally bought a Nook Color and while it had a lot of pros I ended up selling it to my friend for $25 (beacause that's all they're worth these days) and buying a kindle fire last summer.

My main reason for the switch was due to my irritation that I pay B&N for a membership card that doesn't work on their nook. It only works on physical items. I buy an average of five books a month physically (mainly art/design books which are upwards of $50 a piece) then my leisure reading I get mainly on my eReader so I still have walls left in my apartment.

After doing some research last summer and finding out how my prime membership is useful on my kindle (where my B&N card wasn't at all) and other things I switched. Not only do I love the kindle more than I ever did my nook, which crashed consistently when it got close to holding 100 books, but being a writer as well who hates carrying a laptop I found a kindle case with a blue-tooth keyboard that connects to my google drive.

Now whenever inspiration I can whip out the kindle and work. Plus I felt like the Nook store charged you for everything that might be deemed profitable, instead of functional.

The only irritation I had over my switch was converting my calibre library and finding out how difficult amazon can be with about letting non-amazon files into the book library. I hate using the documents folder to read books so it took a sold two days for me to convert, reorganize, and place my books into the sneaky library folder.

I use both a Kindle and a normal Android tablet. Kindle is awesome for Prime members because of the massive free library that comes with the membership. I do however enjoy the reading experience of a normal tablet a bit more. The kindle is great though, really easy on the eyes, great battery, lightweight, and just downright easy to use.

I have a Kindle Fire HD. I enjoy reading books on Kindle as well as the ease of purchasing or borrowing. The trade off is no longer having shelves of books to peruse. There is something fantastic about a well stocked library!

I have the Kindle Fire HD also, and would always choose it over the Nook because of Amazon. I really like there setup and Amazon Prime is a great deal. Kindle all the way!

I have a Nook because I love Barnes and Noble, and I got it as a birthday present, too. But after a few years of working fine, the battery life is almost non-existent :/

I have both, I like them both for different reasons. My nook is great for just reading. My kindle is perfect for searching for books and playing games. Plus with both I don't have to buy all my books from the same place I switch it up depending who is cheaper.

I have a Nook ... and I don't dislike it. It was pretty useful when I first got it (right before I entered college) but now I believe that if I could make the choice again, I would have just bought a Kindle. I feel like Nooks are quickly becoming obsolete and I use the Amazon marketplace way more often, anyway.
