This book tells the story of Delbert, a smart boy who was being bullied in school until a teacher noticed how smart he was and gave him the push he needed to achieve things. The book also portrays the love life between Delbert and Sylvia.

I hope this book stands as a moral guide to all those who bully and help people to understand it's brutality. Not just for bullies in physical world but also for the current 'cyber bullying' generation. It's fascinating to know how a gifted child thrives to be an extraordinary talent.

Life Shattered by Sandy Graham is a historical fiction novel that shares the story of Delbert. A victim of constant bullying and from a poor family, Delbert struggles to fight his way through life as a young child. It's a shame when gifted children have to pretend to be dull to fit in and not give another reason to be bullied. It will be very interesting to see how Delbert overcomes these issues and excels in life. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Thank you for your review. There seems to be a lot going on in this book. It's a bit sad with the bullying and poverty; however, it's good that the book has a positive message. I would root for Delbert like you did while you were reading the book. I may add this for my son to read.

Congrats on the BOTD! A historical fiction book called "Life Shattered" by Sandy Graham tells Delbert's story. Born into a low-income family and subjected to persistent bullying, Delbert has faced challenges throughout his early years. That brilliant kids have to act uninterested in order to blend in and avoid giving bullies more targets is unfortunate. How Delbert resolves these problems and succeeds in life will be fascinating to watch.

Sometimes, it takes just one person to notice how talented you are and encourage you in the right direction. Mr. Graham has done an excellent job with Delbert's character by including multiple aspects of his life in one book. Thanks for the review!

This sounds like a heart-warming novel but still full of challenges. Anytime I read a book where someone is experiencing bullying, I dive right in to see if and how the character rises above it. Fantastic review!
