I think it would be less of an issue if the other person has some intellectual curiosity or ability to discuss 'things'.

Sometimes i just want to sick with a relaxing book on the couch with him lol.
I was once lucky enough where he found a book he wanted to read and it was the cutest thing both of us reading. So i'll just have to hope he finds another.
