Have you ever wondered what it means to be in a dangerous gang and all the rules that must be followed by its members? Have you ever wondered how much trouble law enforcement officers go through to convict members of a gang and also uncover its criminal activities? Well, some of the answers to your questions are going to be answered in the book The Need to Know by Dan Lerch.

Big Mike is a lawyer who helps the poor and homeless get jobs and places to stay so that they can get off the streets, but at a very unfortunate and heartbreaking cost. Bucket Head, on the other hand, is a member of a gang called the Devil's Demons. He and the gang members own a club and several shell organisations that they use to launder money. Bucket Head, however, makes a terrible mistake that causes all hell to break loose, not only for him but for everyone in the gang. What do you think the homeless trade for jobs and homes? What do you think Bucket Head does that causes all hell to break out? To find out more, please get a copy of this book.

I liked the tension and suspense that were portrayed throughout the whole book. There is a lot of tension among the leaders of the Devil's Demons gang, mostly after Bucket Head makes a terrible mistake and also meets an ill fate. Due to the tension, they make a lot of mistakes that make things worse for them, and the law enforcement officers notice this. There was also a lot of suspense regarding what happened to Big Mike and Bucket Head, and when the answers were finally revealed, I was in complete shock. This, in simple terms, means that it was a good book that kept me hooked as I searched for the answers to all the questions I had, and the author didn't disappoint.

The only thing I didn't like is that the book didn't have page numbers, which made it hard to spot which page I was on while reading. However, this was a minor issue, and it didn't affect my enjoyment of the book. For the reasons above, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who loves crime thrillers and police investigations because that's what it entails.

A story about gang activities must be full of intense action that is likely violent, especially when all hell breaks loose. I'm curious about what Bucket Head did to cause such consequences and what will happen to him and Big Mike. Thank you for your great review!
Ciao :)

Review: I gotta say, after reading this review, The Need to Know by Dan Lerch sounds like a real page-turner! The tension and suspense seem to be off the charts, and I'm always up for a good crime thriller. I'm intrigued by the whole gang dynamic and how the protagonist's mistake sets off a chain of events. The fact that law enforcement gets involved adds even more excitement. The lack of page numbers might be a minor inconvenience, but it doesn't seem to hinder the overall enjoyment of the book. I'm giving this review a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy and dive into this gripping story! Engaging dialogue, propelled the story forward.
