After reading Play Golf Better Faster The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis, I found it to be an enlightening and strategic guide on the mental aspects of golf. This book provides a fresh perspective, emphasizing that success in golf and indeed any sport—hinges more on mental strength than physical prowess. Barlis delves into the psychology behind the game, explaining how mental preparation, persistence, and motivation are key to becoming a successful golfer.

I appreciated how the author made the techniques and strategies accessible, highlighting that the right mindset can significantly improve performance. The advice given is not just limited to golf; it’s applicable to various life areas, including personal and professional goals. This broader application made the book even more valuable.

However, I did find some chapters to be somewhat repetitive. As a beginner, I was hoping for more practical, hands-on advice about the basic principles and techniques of golf. The book tends to focus more on mental visualization and less on practical tips, which might leave beginners wanting more detailed guidance on the fundamentals.

Despite this, I still found the book enjoyable and insightful. It offers a unique approach that can benefit golfers of all skill levels, particularly those who already understand the basics and are looking to refine their mental game. The inclusion of graphics at the end of the book was a helpful touch, making it easier to visualize and understand the swing patterns discussed.

In conclusion, Play Golf Better Faster is a worthy read for anyone interested in golf. While it may not fully cater to complete beginners looking for step-by-step instructions, its focus on the mental aspects of the game provides a valuable perspective that can enhance overall performance. I found that there was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. It is exceptionally well edited with no errors. It earns a solid rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book to golf enthusiasts and anyone curious about the psychological side of sports.

This manual offers clear and actionable tips for golfers seeking quick improvement. It covers swing mechanics, putting techniques, and course management efficiently, making it accessible for various skill levels. The focus on practical drills and efficient practice methods is especially valuable. While visual aids would enhance understanding, the guide remains highly effective in delivering concise, useful advice.

Thanks for a very honest review. I'm not really a gold player nor do I intend to be one. However, I will still love to check out the book. Maybe learn from it's inspirational part.

Golf is not a sport I am interested in, but it's great to see that this self-help book applies to both new and experienced players while touching on the psychological aspect of golf that is usually underrated.
